Another month gone by

Our sweet little baby boy is now 16 months old! We didn't have any doctor's appointments this month so we don't have any updates on his stats. We're continuing the carnation instant breakfast and hoping he's gaining weight well. We'll follow up with nephrology next month and we're hoping he's getting fatter. We are loving watching this little boy grow and seeing personality blossom. He's learning how to have an attitude and we keep reminding him he has 8 more months until his "terrible two's".

-Still not walking. I'm sure he will do it eventually, but I would hate to have to carry him in to his kindergarten class. Has the ability to stand on his own, he just chooses not to.

-Doesn't say too many words other than mimicking like crazy. Occasionally his jargoning sounds like words and phrases, but we know he has no clue he just said something coherent.

-Points at the tv and whines almost every morning so that we'll turn Jake on for him.

-Started to really get attached to mom and dad. We thought we were in the clear from the separation anxiety, but apparently we got our hopes up too soon. Loves to be held and to play on the couch next to us. Has had a few nights lately where he's waking up at 2 am screaming and won't let his dad let him go.

-We're still going to feeding class during which he's improving greatly. Lately he wants a little bit of whatever mom and dad are eating, but all he wants to do is lick it. Progress for the sake of progress is fine by me.

-Has learned to get in and out of the car Unky Rory and Cuzzy Ashton bought him for Christmas and enjoys kicking back watching tv in it.

We really can't get enough of him!
