Winter Fun!!

Last week we took Zach to his first hockey game. We had so much fun and Zach was amazed by everything that was going on. He raised his hands (like the touchdown signal) and said "YAY!" anytime the crowd was cheering and made sure he was aware at all times where Grizzbee was (their mascot). We weren't sure if he watched him so closely because he liked him or because he was so scared of him getting too close. It was such a blast and Zach behaved the entire time, and even better the Grizzlies won!! We're going to another game tonight and I'm sure we'll enjoy it just as much as the first time!




Last night we also made a trip to the Festival of Trees. I'm always amazed at the creativity people have to create all of these trees. Our favorites were the "UP!" tree and the "Charlie Brown Christmas Tree". They had a large stuffed animal Snoopy on top of a dog house large enough for people to be able to stand up in. They had all the Peanuts characters ice skating around and a model of the Christmas tree from the movie. I got the cinnamon sugar scone that I crave every year around Festival of Trees time and David got a sweet roll. I also stopped and bought some divinity. I'm not sure I've ever tried it before and realized I've been missing out for a really long time. It was AMAZING!! Zach wasn't too interested in all the trees and activities going on, but more interested in pushing his stroller and running away from mom and dad. It was still a fun family activity.
